A city that was once part of the ancient Silk Road. Then formed part of the USSR, is now the capital city of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Una ciudad que alguna vez fue parte de la antigua Ruta de la Seda. En aquel entonces formó parte de la URSS, y ahora es la ciudad capital de la República Kirguisa.
English Teaching
Bishkek State University houses intelligent, hardworking and talented students and professors.
La Universidad Estatal de Bishkek alberga estudiantes y profesores inteligentes, trabajadores y talentosos.
Volunteer
While serving my Fulbright, I volunteered at an orphanage, Saint Michael Catholic Church and a small college.
Al mismo tiempo que serví mi Fulbright, fui voluntaria en un orfanato, la Iglesia Católica de San Miguel y un pequeño instituto.
Kyrgyz Food
Generous hospitality, and abundant food are a sure to be found at weddings and bazaars.

Architecture
Brutal, blocky and concrete are the signature designs scattered all over the republic.

Winter Sports
Skiing, snowboarding, and sledding can be enjoyed at various ski bases.

The mountains with the snow capped mountains is what distinguishes this beautiful country
